Co-Head Coach, JV Blue

Brendan Fowler joined the CDM coaching staff in the fall of 2016.

Coach Fowler is among the top face-off specialist in the game. He was a three-sport student-athlete at Duke (football, lacrosse and wrestling), was a two-time All-American and the MVP of the 2013 NCAA Division I National Championship. He is currently a member of the Charlotte Hounds (MLL), where he has been a two-time MLL All-Star at the face-off position.

A former head coach at JSerra (2016), Fowler stepped down from his head coaching duties in order to continue to play in the MLL for the Charlotte Hounds and to actively pursue his goal of making the 2018 U.S. Men's National Team.

At Duke
During his lacrosse career at Duke, Fowler was a two-time NCAA Champion (2013 & 2014), the Most Valuable Player in the 2013 NCAA National Championship game, a two-time All-American (2013 & 2014), two-time All-ACC Team member (2013 & 2014), two-time All-ACC Academic Team (2013 & 2014), a USILA Scholar All-American (2014), and three-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree (2012-14). He finished his career with 816 faceoff victories to rank fourth in NCAA Division I history. In addition to his lacrosse career at Duke, Fowler was a three-year member of the Blue Devils football team and joined the wrestling team while pursuing a graduate degree in Duke's business school.

In the MLL
The Charlotte Hounds selected Brendan Fowler with the 13th overall selection in the 2014 Collegiate Draft. Since that time, he has been the Hounds’ feature face-off specialist and is a two-time MLL All-Star (2015 & 2016).
